Registrations for the 2020 Adult Hockey League (AHL) are now open.

Who Can Play?
Any player that turns 18 in the calendar year of the season may play in the AHL. However, special dispensation to play up or down a league may apply to those born late in the year – please contact us via email at info@aiha.org.nz to request more information about this.
Playing Fees:
Due to the cost of ice time increasing, playing fees have increased slightly for the 2020 season. The playing fees have been split across 6 instalments, rather than 3, which makes it fairer for those who only play part of the season (eg: injury) and helps spread out the payments.
2020 Playing fees will consist of:
- Registration Fee – Due 1 March 2020 – $179.00 ($139.00 if paid by 31 January 2020)
- Ice Fee Instalment 1 – Due 1 March 2020 – $76.00
- Ice Fee Instalment 2 – Due 1 April 2020 – $76.00
- Ice Fee Instalment 3 – Due 1 May 2020 – $76.00
- Ice Fee Instalment 4 – Due 1 June 2020 – $76.00
- Ice Fee Instalment 5 – Due 1 July 2020 – $76.00
- Ice Fee Instalment 6 – Due 1 August – $76.00
A total prompt payment discount of $65.50 will apply if all fees are paid prior to March 1st.
Please ensure you support the Club by paying your fees on time, or even better, early!
Payments can be processed through ClubHub at the time of registration or after you have registered.
Season Information:
The 2020 AHL season will start in mid-late March and will feature a 20 game regular season + playoffs.
Saturdays at Avondale: 4:30pm – 5:30pm, 5:45pm – 6:45pm and 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturdays at Botany: 4:45pm – 5:45pm, 6:00pm – 7:00pm and 7:15pm – 8:15pm
Sundays at Botany: 4:45pm – 5:45pm, 6:00pm – 7:00pm and 7:15pm – 8:15pm
Mondays at Avondale: 7:00pm – 8:00pm, 8:15pm – 9:15pm and 9:30pm – 10:30pm
Mondays at Botany: 6:45pm – 7:45pm, 8:00pm – 9:00pm and 9:15pm – 10:15pm
Once the Bantam & Junior League season begins, AHL games will be played in the last slot on Monday nights only.

Officiating:
The Adult Hockey League needs referees! Without referees we cannot run games and we have been running pretty thin on the bench over recent seasons. So, if you would like to try on the stripes and engage with the game in a different way, join the “third team!” We will train you and get you up to speed in no time! Contact referee@aiha.org.nz for more information.
U12 Super League / Bantam / Junior League / Registrations:
If you have children that play in the Super League, Bantam League or Junior League, you can register them at the same time as your AHL registration.
